*****Welcome back*****

It is lovely to have the children back in school and to be using the new classrooms and yards. As you will have seen the new Nursery/Reception block is growing daily and we hope that it will be finished in November. It is great to have our hall back too!

*****Breakfast Club/After School Club*****

Breakfast club and After School club are now back in the upper hall (entry through the middle gate on Heol Dulais). PLEASE DO NOT COME IN THROUGH THE MAIN CAR PARK IN THE MORNING AS IT IS VERY BUSY WITH CARS/VANS.

*****Junior children*****

As the Junior yard is now behind the school the best way for the children to come into school is now via the Heol Nant Bran entrance and around to the playgrounds for some of the juniors, Miss Jeffreys' and Miss Knight's classrooms.

*****Dinner money*****

Dinner money has gone up to £1.90 per day (£9.50 per week) payable on MONDAYS only in a named envelope.

*****School attendance*****

As usual it is important that your child is here for 8.50am promptly and if they are not well please phone the school to let us know. IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK  YOU MUST WAIT FOR 48HRS BEFORE SENDING THEM BACK TO SCHOOL

*****Family Holidays*****

It is best for your child if you can arrange to take family holidays during school holiday time, if this is not possible please complete a holiday request form (these can be obtained from the office or downloaded from the website - go to the ABOUT US page and then click on SCHOOL FORMS)

*****School forms*****

We are sending home the usual information forms for you to complete, these are important for your child's safety so please send them back to us promptly.

*****School Uniform/PE Kit*****

We encourage all children to wear school uniform and ask that the children wear NO jewellery at school for their safety. Please make sure your child brings PE kit to school regularly. Class teachers will let you know when your child does PE. ALL CHILDREN FROM YEAR 1 TO YEAR 6 are to bring SHORTS and T-SHIRT for PE, Jogging Bottoms for GAMES in the JUNIORS. Children in RECEPTION are to come to school wearing JOGGING BOTTOMS and a T-SHIRT on the mornings of PE days

9th October 2.30pm - Year 3/4 Maths Exhibition for parents.

21st October - Harvest Assembly, details from School Council for collection for this to follow.

Monday 26th - Friday 30th October - Half Term.

6th November 2.30pm - Year 1/2 Maths Exhibition for parents.

19th November - Parent Evening - Family night.
