Is there anymore inset days?

Yes there is an INSET day on Monday 3rd June, thats the 1st day after the half term holiday. This means that the children will come back to school on Tuesday 4th June. Miss Jeffreys

Hi Mrs Jeffrey's had a great time in Borfa, the people that was taking us out places said that we could go in the sea so we all went in, the teachers said we were not aloud to go any further than our knees but everyone was pushing and splashing around so we got drenched LOL

I know that the teachers all had a fab time and were VERY tired when they got back from Borfa - I admire their stamina! I cant wait to see the photos from Borfa. Miss Jeffreys

Well hello everyone at Birchgrove Primary School! Can't believe it's been almost 8 weeks since I left school. It was lovely coming back the other week, just sorry I didn't see everyone. Missing you all very much. It's lovely to read all about what's happening there on the guest book, and I'm glad you all had a good St David's Day (well done team coch)! Hello, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Fondation Phase concert on St David's day. It was amazing, the singing, the poetry and the dancing WOW! Everyone looked and sounded fantastic. Well done to you all. The only thing I wasn't happy about was I couldn't watch the junior children perform as you can't be in two places at once! I did hear you were all fantastic too, so well done for all your hard work.

Well Mrs D'Auria I feel exactly the same (but the other way around). I really enjoyed the Eisteddfod in the Juniors AND COCH WON! (wooo hooo go my team), however I missed seeing the Infants concert. Everyone looked wonderful in their costumes and the pictures have been put on the TV in the corridor so have a look when you go past. Miss Jeffreys

I did have a pancake Amy (just the 1) but couldnt flip them as they stuck a bit to the pan! By the time I had gotten the hang of it I had wasted 3 or 4, but Amy and Lewis enjoyed the ones that were ok. We had strawberries with ours - yum, yum,yum. Did you enjoy your pancakes? Miss Jeffreys

I am back from Disneyland and it was really fun I met Micky and Minnie.we also went to sea world i got to feel the bat ray fish. he was slimy my mum hated the feel. we saw the Samu show it was wonderful.And we went to universal studios I met shrek spungbob and woddy the wood peker,gorge the and a little mouse I did not know his name.

Hmmmmm, now as I am sure everyone in Birchgrove knows I am a huge Disney fan. Also as everyone in our class knows I was ever so slightly jealous that Meji and her family were going to Disney in California as I have NEVER been there. Now everyone thinks that school is a ... place but to me its a place of comfort and learning and people may find the subjects that we do are ...boring but so what there are activitys in each lesson we do and they will help us in our future

hi. i am very upset, over the concert tickets this year, you are letting people have two tickets per child, which is fine but what happens if the parents are sepparated and the farther/partner wants to come and see them in the concert. Also my children are taken care of by my parents as i work full time and shifts, they are unable to come to see there grand children in the concerts. i have spoken to parents from other schools and they never have these issues. birchgrove is terrible for organisation, if you are unable to provide the concerts for parents and grandparents, why bother having them. i have spoken to lots of parents and they feel the same, every year there is issues over tickets.

Concert tickets

I am sorry you feel so aggrieved about tickets for the concerts but I am caught between a rock and a hard place. I know some extended families would love to come and see the concerts but I have to balance this against what the children can manage and the size of our halls.

We know that the children can manage dress rehearsal and two performances and still enjoy the experience but after that the joy goes out of it for them and they have to be my primary concern.

There are fire regulations about how many people I am allowed to have in the hall at one time and this dictates the number of tickets available for each concert. We are doing ten concerts this year and this means that our older children’s class time is disrupted for eight of these as we use classroom chairs for parents (costing of hiring chairs for the concerts are around £400 per concert.)

So we have to compromise by limiting ticket numbers to make sure each child has two tickets and then selling the leftovers on a first come first serve basis.

Are they doing a disco for the kids in reception this year for halloween . They would love it .

We have discussed this at length in previous HSA meetings and it is felt that the younger children get too scared by the loud music and lights. Some of the Y2 children are uncomfortable with the Halloween disco so the younger ones wont be having a disco sorry.

Well now I can't answer that question as it is directed towards Mrs Treen but I do have to ask why you want school to be extended by 5 minutes each day? I am very curious to find out the reason for this.
Of course it could be that you have such a BRILLIANT teacher that you want to stay even longer in her class so that you can learn more. Is that it Kian? Is it because your class teacher is so WONDERFUL? I think that is probably the reason. Miss Jeffreys

Hi, I'm really missing primary and really nervous about comp and kinnda creeped out by what my brother said to my today. He said in the mornings when I'm with a group of friends he's gonna come up to my with his arms wide open saying " hey Morgan, mum forget to give you this!" and he's gonna give me a big hug....yikes!!!!!!!

Well Mrs Adkins it was a very strange last few days in school - people were being ill everywhere! I think Mrs Treen had to send home 3 members of staff and there were several others feeling a bit "green" but refused to go home! Hopefully Kristen passed the message on to you - in the Juniors you send the money into school in an envelope and the HSA volunteers will collect them from the class and then give the tickets to the children at the end of the day. In the Infants you can go to the lower hall at the 9am or at the end of the day to buy the tickets. Miss Jeffreys

Wow a puppy called Freeway - now I am going to show my age here but I remember a tv show way back in the 80's (I think) that was called Hart to Hart and they had a dog called Freeway in it and it was 1 of my favourite programmes when I was little. Well not really no, its only the end of a HALF term not the end of year so I would think you should wear what you would wear to school on any other Friday - make sure it is warm though as it is supposed to be another chilly day (no snow in Swansea though). Um Ashley did you look at the first page of the school website? Did that message give you a clue? It is written in REALLY BIG LETTERS so that everyone could see it! ;)
Unfortunately Ashley there will be no school for Y5D, Y5J, Y3L and Y4G as the heating is still off and it is bbbrrrrrrrr freezing in the classrooms.

We will keep all of the parents informed as to what will be happening on Friday - a decision will be made by hometime on Thursday based on information given to us by the Gas and Water engineers. Keep checking your texts, and the school website

Hello Birchgrove Primary!!! i am having fun in comp!! i have made lots of new friends like Lori, Jazmin' and kim.. homework is geting harder and harder every day im there!!! im sort of getting used to moving class to class. im use to the size!! i got to say i did get lost maybe once or twice, but other than that i think i will be just fine for the rest of the years.

Tip for y6's: DONT BE WORRIED!! there is nothing to worry about!! there are lots of nice people to help you when your lost!!

One more thing for the y6's: DONT FORGET YOUR FOB!!! because you will get very hungry!!

Update on twinning school with one in Swansea New South Wales Australia. I heard that the BBC have a website (BBC twin your school) that is helping schools set up a twin arrangement. May be worth having a look at that to see if it's of any help.

I heard on the TV that a lot of schools are twinning themselves with other schools around the world to celebrate the Olympics this year. Does Birchgrove Primary have any plans to twin with another school. It may be a good idea to twin with a primary school in Swansea Australia so that the children can learn about life the other side of the world in a town with the same name. ?

We are linked with a school in Kenya called Bodo Primary already, it is a new link and we are just getting to know each other but this is going to be one of our big projects in the upcoming year. Thank you again everyone for the lovely assembly on my last day at Birchgrove. It was a perfect end to my years at Birchgrove. I'll never forget that fantstic song you all sang me! Thank you also to the HSA and parents for the lovely birch tree to remember all the children that I was lucky enough to know at Birchgrove. I would like to say well done to all of the Reception children. They were fabulous in their concert today. Its not easy performing on the stage in front of a hall full of people when you are 4 and 5 years old! I'm so proud of you all.

A newsletter came out today (Wednesday 23rd Nov) giving information about this possible strike action - if you haven't had the letter ask the children where it is as they all had one leaving the classrooms today. Miss Jeffreys

I hear on the grapevine that the new deputy head has been appointed & its a man, yay!!! Does this mean he'll take over miss knights class?

I know that Mrs Treen tried to get around all of the classes on Friday to introduce the children to the new deputy head teacher so I can imagine there were lots and lots of whispers on the grapevine at the end of the school day! I am sure Mrs Treen will send out official confirmation very soon - and as for who will be taking over Miss Knight's class I know Mrs Treen will inform the parents of children in that class as soon as a decision is made.

A MESSAGE TO EVERYONE
I have had a great time reading all of your messages over the past 6 years, it certainly has kept me very busy and I have laughed, been shocked, surprised and felt proud at the comments left. Unfortunately the new school website doesn't have a Guestbook section BUT I am nagging the IT department to get one set up on our new website as it is SO VERY POPULAR. This website costs the school approx £90 a year to own and the new website is free and is part of the Swansea Council website so we have lots of backup and IT support for free. Its all down to economics Aaliyah. Miss Jeffreys

I see so it is a big secret is it - it must be a thrilling tale, I have some ideas myself as to how Mr Williams got his scar on his leg -
1. I think he was rushing into a burning building in his shorts not his fire fighting gear and caught his leg on a nail that was sticking out on the stair case. No not that ok how about.....
2. He was climbing a tree when he was in school and fell out scraping his leg on a jagged branch as he fell to the ground. No still not right mmmm... I know now
3. He was driving his car down the road when a runaway lorry came hurtling around the bend and smashed into a lampost that fell onto the bonnet of his car and the steering wheel hit his leg. Still not right ....
4. He fell over when running after a run away pram that had twins in it but he stopped the pram even though blood was pouring out of his cut.
Oh I give up... I tried to think of different ways in which the famous scar could have been made but I will have to bribe someone from the now Y7 to tell me instead. So WHO is going to let me know??????Miss Jeffreys

Well I thought that the concert was BRILLIANT - it made me laugh so much! Miss Richards and Miss Noble have done a great job writing the show and the children did a marvellous job at performing it. It was lovely to see so many children come back to perform the concert in the evening, there were a few children missing but we understand it is difficult to commit to evening events especially at this time of year. I would recommend that you come to the school and ask for an enrolment form so we can get all of the information we need and you can get a school prospectus and find out a bit more about your children's new school. We CANNOT guarentee your child will get a placement as we are filling up in certain year groups (its good to be popular!!) so the quicker you can get the forms back to us the better. Hope you are all having a fab holiday. I don't think I've ever had such an exciting holiday. On Monday, I travelled with lots of other Swansea supporters to Wembley for a match that will certainly be part of the history of Swansea!!! I had a brilliant day and not only did we win -woohoo!!!! BUTTTTT guess who was in the official match programme.......that's right boys and girls, it was ME and some of the boys and girls from our school who came to my storytelling session with Alan Tate. How fantastic is that!!! Check out page 93 of the programme if you have one - we all look fab!!!!!

Just a quick message to say how proud I am of Scott Jenkins Y5M and Kyle Rees Y6R. They have trained really hard and have shown great dedication to rugby. They were chosen to play for the Swansea School Boys rugby team, which is a huuuuuge achievemnet! Two boys from our school, chosen over thousands of other children. Not only have they played lots of serious competitions this term, they played in the millenium Stadium in Cardiff, in the final. They went on to win the cup and Swansea School Boys are now the champions of Wales, thanks to their help!! I am so proud of you both. Your hard work has paid off.

I just wanted to say how much we all enjoyed the HSA ladies pamper evening last night. it was organised really well and i think a special thanks should go out to Ellie and Danielle for doing such a great job.

Hopefully this event has brought the HSA to the attention of more parents - come along to the next meeting on Wednesday 23rd March when we will be discussing summer term events. Miss Jeffreys

Hello! Well anyone can agree last week was amazing. The eisteddfod and then world book day! Me and Nandini finally agreed with each other we'd dance. (It took a while to be brave enough) Also I went with Mrs Lloyd to hear My Naughty Little Sister which brought back some lovely memories when I was little. Anyway, Red Nose day's coming up! Me, Jamie and Seren have our noses ready. I've also got a great joke coming. Can't wait!

Hello everyone,
What a fantastic first week back(and it's still not Friday)!!! We have been soooo busy but I've loved every minute of it! Firstly, the Eisteddfod on Tuesday was excellent. It was lovely to see so many children dressed in their costumes and rugby shirts and I have to say - Birchgrove has got so much talent. The children danced, sang, played instruments and so much more!! It was a brilliant day. On Wednesday, we had our reading workshop and I would like to say a big thank you to the parents who came along. Your support is always greatly appreciated and we are really pleased with all the positive feedback. Finally, today is World Book Day. The staff read bedtime stories to the children to end and celebrate the day and I read Cyril the Swan. We all enjoyed the session and were very excited when we had a visit from Alan Tate. He told us that he likes to read books about famous people. Keep an eye out in Swansea Life magazine over the next few months as they also popped in to take some snaps of us reading with our famous visitor. What a fantastic week! Hope you have all had a great week too!

I heard some very positive feedback from the Eisteddfod - the boys and girls really enjoyed the competitions in the juniors. Miss Jeffreys

I would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Jeffreys, Mrs Watkins and Miss Calcutt for the advice and support offered when I attended the reading session on 28th of February. I found the information and tips useful and as a parent I feel more confident in supporting my children with their reading skills. However it was dissapointing to see that so few parents took advantage of this session. Many Thanks and I know my children will now benefit from a more knowledgeable mother.

Well I am sooooo proud of my beautiful nursery children! They were fantastic in the nursery nativity play today. I dont think there was a dry eye in the hall! What fabulous children we have in our school.

I couldn't agree with you more Mrs Pawan, so far out of the 4 concerts that have been performed all of the children have been fabulous. The singing is wonderful and mums, dads, aunties, uncles, grandparents, brothers and sisters should all be very proud of the effort the children have put in to these concerts. Miss Jeffreys

I couldn't agree more - the concert was wonderful and I really enjoyed The 12 Days of Christmas song - I can't imagine why? (YES it is time). I have to mention Paige and Leonie, what wonderful actresses they are and very funny. They even keep the act up in school, can you imagine having a chat with someone who you know isn't old enough to go and watch a 12 rated film and yet they are talking to you about their grand daughter and bus passes - bizzare!

Hello Nia, our new caretaker is Mr Williams - he is out and about around the school keeping everything neat and tidy, but for the moment he is in school mostly early in the morning and late at night when the children are not there (except those who are in After School Club). Mr Williams used to be a firefighter so we are in very safe hands! Miss Jeffreys



UPDATE - Mrs Treen took Mr Williams around the school today introducing him to all of the classes. My class had been a bit sneaky and we met him a couple of weeks ago as he was outside our classroom with the leaf blower. 6/12/10

Hello everyone. We have all really really really enjoyed tudor week. We are rather sad it's ended but we do still have the banquet this arfternoon. Someone will be knighted and we will have a big party for it. Rumour is the Queen is attending!
We have made leaflets, created a dance from shakespears famous play Romeo and Juliet, we've made pomanders and are right now about to cook ginger bread men! Yum yum! we hope everyone that took part has had a great time!

wanted to say I have just attended the math workshops and they were brilliant. It really helped to find out how the children are being taught so that I can do it the same way at home-although I sure it is harder than when I was in school :).

I have spoken to quite a few parents who attended the Maths Workshop and they have all said what a great time they have had and how much clearer things are now. Miss Jeffreys

Mmmmm I wonder were we could have our very own "unders" in school - I do miss the shelter from the top school as it was so handy if it was raining, the children need to have fresh air and run around but lots of them don't bring coats!!! I don't start officially until Nov 1st but I went in today and I'm going in for 3 days next week. It was really good today but very strange in the playground as the whole school only has 45 children!! It's a First School so they are Reception to Y4. None of the children in Class 2 (Y1/Y2) could remember my name so Mrs G it is!!!

P.S.I went on the adventure weekend last weekend and it was SOOOOO fun! I didnt do the zip wire though because was too high and scary!!

I am having a lovely summer holiday. I have been camping for two weeks in my tent with my mum,dad and brother, then we went to Bristol balloon festival for four days with all my family including my grandparents ,uncle and cousion. We had a brilliant time and my first tooth fell out when we got to Bristol and tooth fairy even knew where we were staying. Helloo!! I'vee stepped up a BIG level in my athletics!! I was selected by my team maganger and I ran in Birmingham on sundayy 4 my region.., i did 800m and longg jump..Swansea got through 2 the cup championships in Manchester. Also I've also beeen selected 2 go 2 Cardiff and represent Swansea and I'm doin 1500m and longg jump!! So a lot of athleticss!! Byee xx

I just wanted to say thankyou for supporting my charity horse ride, horses 4 heroes, which through the charity 'help 4 heroes' helps support injured soldiers. It was great seeing many children dressed up as their heroes yesterday, supporting this worthwhile charity. I'm looking forward to the ride on Saturday and promise to bring in some photos ! Well I went to have my eyes tested yesterday and have bought a new pair of glasses and sun glasses, then I went and bought a lovely new bracelet which I think is fabulous. Today I went for a meal at the King Arthur and then listened to the England v Germany game on the drive home ....... least said about that the better though I think (oh dear oh dear oh dear).

My hamster Lowrie is dark brow, white and she has a little bit of ginger aswell. she eats this food called "harry hamster" and she sleeps during the day but she wakes up when i come home from school and is really noisy in the night!!! she sleeps in her cage next to my bed so its hard to sleep! She is in HER exercise ball right now and it is a pinky purple i am in miss davis's class in the comp and me and Cleo are the onlt girls from our school in that class!!! i cant wait! but i will miss you bye from Emma

Um my hamster is called Jasper, he is gold and it like fades to cream at the back. Je has a HUGE cage and its in my room :) but he's made himself a little nest even though he has 2 nests that i bought him and a little cottage thats a bed and he is so cute! ( but very noisy at night , as they are nocturnal)

Are these real hamsters or the go go hamsters? I still remember the time in Reception many, many years ago when our class hamster Reebok got out of his cage and was lost for days and days. Luckily our hero Tyla found Reebok on the step by the cloakroom and put him back in his cage. The next day Reebok bit me! Hmmm I wasnt too keen on the hamster from that day onwards :( Miss Jeffreys

Heyy every1!! I'm doing a competition tomorrow in Swindon for Swansea harriers. I'm doing 1200 metres and long jump. I hope I do as well as I did in the school competition the other week!! The bus leaves ''7:45am'' and gets bk 8:00pm :/ so I'm up there 4 a long time!! It's Thursday afternoon and I think I can say that I've recovered from our fabulous but exhausting week at Borfa. The lovely weather meant we were busy, busy, busy everyday and my early night on Friday was much needed. Hello Victoria, what are you up to then? I went down Oxwich beach today with my Lewis, we didn't take Amy as the last time we went to the beach she screamed and screamed as she was so tired but wouldn't cwtch in to go to sleep (little madam) so we had to come home early and Lewis was muttering under his breath something about not getting to build a castle because of Amy and had a very grumpy look on his face. So today we had a lovely time building sandboys and sandgirls, sandcastles and even a sandhill. I nearly got swept away by a wave that was bigger and faster than I thought and did Lewis come to rescue me? No he was too busy laughing! However we really enjoyed ourselves and are planning to go back again soon. Miss Jeffreys

Hi everyone did u all have a nice Easter and a lot of eggs

Well I know that I cant answer for everyone but I am having a great Easter holiday - it is getting better each day. On Friday I went for a walk down Mumbles with Lewis and Amy and it was glorious. We had lunch, walked along the front, went on the pier, walked to Bracelet Bay and had a fab time. We saw Jack Dempster as well - and at the end we had a lovely icecream from Verdi's. I am not too keen on easter eggs so I ate the little sweets inside the 3 I got and we melted the chocolate eggs to make rice crispies cakes. Miss Jeffreys

I cannot believe that there are only 9 days left of the spring term. We have been so busy and have learnt lots. It has been the first time that I have done a theme about the Egyptians and I want to thank the children for making a brilliant decision. I have had a fab term and like the children, I have learnt so much about Egypt - past and present. I'd love to go there on a holiday now! I have asked the children to leave us messages on the guestbook to tell us about their favourite bits. My favourite part of this topic has been Egyptian week - the children created amazing Egyptian dances and I was really impressed with how well they evaluated everyone's performances. They were all really positive and offered good tips to improve. Well done Year 5 and 6. I've had a lovely term. Miss Noble xx

Well funny you should ask that Paige - it started well and has gone rapidly down hill! The boiler keeps turning itself off and then back on so when I phone the engineer to come and look at it he must think that I am loopy and the lights have just gone BANG in my front room and I am waiting for the electrician to come out and sort them as I am worried I will be electrocuted if I touch anything. I know how much the children at Birchgrove love circuit training at lunch times and in Golden Time. There is a children's boxercise and circuit class that has just started in Swansea. hi everyone! Im having a great time in egyptian week!!! Have you seen Miss Noble she looks very pretty in her egyptian costume.I really enjoyed making up a dance when i was with miss noble for P.E.I also enjoyed making posters with Miss Williams and learning about gods and godesses with Mrs Roberts.Miss richards made making canopic jars really fun! Thank you to everyone for making such a fantastic effort with your costumes for World Book Day. You all looked amazing! Thank you also for all the library donations. We raised £115 to buy new books for the library. I am always pleased with how the children in our school love reading. I have a very long list of books that you would like me to buy for the library so maybe we could try another fundraiser later in the year. Maybe a book stall of donated books in the school fair?

Well done to the football team on their excellent result yesterday. The boys beat Cwm Glas 2-1 and St. Thomas 3-0. They all played extremely well and I was very pleased with the result. Hullo everyone , sorry the school had to shut today but it was too difficult and dangerous for most of the teachers to get to school this morning. I've just listened to the forecast for tomorrow and it looks better as no snow is expected. So I hope to open the school tomorrow but keep listening to The Wave and see the council website as well as our site in the morning.

please can you update the website as soon as practaclly possible with news if the school will open on Thursday - this will give working parents the opportunity to make alternative arrangements. thank you.

It has been a bit of a nightmare this morning to get messages onto the site but Mrs Treen has to make the decision about whether the school will open in the morning and then we will let parents know as soon as we can.


We do our best to update the website as soon as we possibly can but unfortunately the server provider kept crashing and we have no way of accessing the website then. Miss Knight and I have been trying to get onto the website to put the school closure details on since 7.15am when we were told that the school would not be opened and we were still online trying at 10 o'clock. If you follow the link on the HOMEPAGE which will take you to the City and County page listing school closures, listen to The Wave or Swansea Sound then they are able to give out the relivant information too. I know that from 8 o'clock The Wave were broadcasting that our school was closed. However the radio stations phonelines also get very busy with schools ringing in with closure details and parents asking for information so it can be a while before the head can get through to them with the relevant password so they know it is not a hoax caller. We do appreciate your patience. Miss Jeffreys

WOW this has taken me ages to get onto this page! the server for the school email kept stopping/crashing & showing Error, nightmare. Ahhhh......I feel all christmassy now. After all the concerts this week and then the choir in starbucks today....have you tasted their hot chocolate-yum-...its really helped to put me in the mood and forget I still have my turkey to buy!!
Well done to everybody this week and especially to Ryan W who made me smile so much when his santa hat kept slipping down :)

yesterday it was really fun!!!

I agree Steven all of the concerts were fun but by Friday afternoon the children in R/Y1/Y2 were glad that they were over as they were very tired - thank goodness we didn't have to do a 4th concert. Miss Jeffreys

Well Mrs. Gibbbons, you did guess right and it was me!!!
I must add I was about 13 years old at the time and it was very naughty! I have actually got 3 sisters. Thank you Miss. Jeffreys for telling tales on me!!!
Can I just say Happy Christmas to everyone and well done for all of your hard work in all of our concerts, still 2 to go for the infants so keep up the good singing. We are all very proud of you. Well Mrs Adkins your past has caught up with you! We know you would never do anything like that now and I am sure you have made it up to your sister. Santa will keep you on the good list I am sure. Now maybe I should tell you a little secret of my own from my past - mmmm what can I tell you? Oh I know, shamefully when I was little I opened 1 of the presents under the tree, played with it and then wrapped it back up again and put it back under the tree. I don't recommend any of you do this though ok. Miss Jeffreys (feeling very guilty and very sorry)

Mrs D'Auria you would have been so proud of our children today, they sang beautifully and they enjoyed themselves. We have 2 more concerts to go and I am sure they will rise to the occassion and make us proud again. Miss Jeffreys

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the year 5/6 christmas concert yesterday. The singing was beautiful and the acting fantastic, thankyou very much for the invite, it was lovely to see you all. Ffion really enjoyed too!!

When the children got to watch the dress rehersals for the other year groups they did enjoy themselves. I am so glad to hear Ffion enjoyed herself - I have to say she is getting more beautiful each time I see her ( and I got to have another cuddle) Miss Jeffreys

Hello everyone .Hope all of you are ready for christmas because it is getting very near nowThank you Miss Jeffreys for those wonderful comments as you say time moves on but we never forget those who made our working lives a time to treasure and you did exactly that for me.The pictues are wonderful and I am amazed I was able to find them.You know what a dope I am on the computer.I hope the Nursery and Reception classes have settled into their new clasrooms and I expect they are delighted to be with the rest of the school at long last.Well I hope you all have a super christmas and best wishes to you all.A special hello to Gabriella and family and big sloppy kisses from Missy.XXX

Hi Miss Jeffreys, Mummy wants to know if Mr Daff (hope i've spelt it right) is going to be in our class for a while because she doesnt want to leave him off the Christmas Card list if he is. I've told her that he will be in our class until March, have i got that right? As it's my last day in school tomorrow (very excited now) Mummy would appreciate it if you could let us know asap. Oh yes I've left the same message on our class guestbook ha ha

Mr Daffe will be in our school until March but only in our class until the end of January when he will be going into Y6N to work with the children at the top of our school. Miss Jeffreys
