A sad farewell to Miss Knight

It is with a great deal of sadness that we say farewell to Miss Knight, our deputy head teacher. We are losing an extremely valuable member of staff who has been a driving force behind Birchgrove Primary School since we began in September 2005, we will miss her as a friend, a strong leader, a great advocate for the pupils and an excellent teacher. However we do wish her lots of luck (not that she will need it) in her new position as Head teacher at Talycopa Primary School where she will be able to continue to have a positive impact on children's lives and their education. We know we will stay in touch and the link between the 2 schools will be a strong one.
