P.P.A stands for Planning, Preparation and Assessment and is a block of non contact time that every teacher is entitled to each week. In our school we have a team of 3 members of staff that take the class for specific areas of the curriculum during P.P.A. Miss Williams leads this team and in KS2 is supported by Mrs Davies whilst in Mrs D'Auria plans and delivers activities in KS1.

   Each year group has allocated a specific

   area of the curriculum for the P.P.A team to  

   undertake with the children. The P.P.A team

   then plan for these areas and deliver the

   activities on a weekly basis to the children.

   The P.P.A team and class teachers meet

   regularly to discuss progress and next step 

   progression. Each class teacher has a set day

   and morning/afternoon session for P.P.A.
